DRIVE IN AND DRIVE THROUGH RACK SYSTEMS
In the drive-in rack system, storage is performed according to the principle of first-in-last-out; while in the drive-through rack system, storage is performed according to the principle of first-in-first-out. Since drive-through rack system has bidirectional entrance, material flow in loading and unloading processes can be separated. Guide rail is used for ensuring easy movement inside the aisle and for protecting rack legs.
Forklift machine can perform storage activity by entering deep into corridors. Storage with different depth and height can be performed. It is commonly used in food and chemistry industries, logistic companies, firms operating in stocks and cold storage houses.
It allows storage of products packaged In pallets. Since loading canals are used in the form of aisle in such systems, the aisle requirement is minimized. This rack system is used for storing products with high volume and amount, but same in terms of diversity.
